Common hornet questions

Can I ask without approaching the nest?

Yes. Tell us where it is from a safe position. Send a photo only if it can be taken without approaching.

How much does removal cost?

Removal starts at JPY 10,000 before tax. Visit and quotation are free; the confirmed price is explained before work.

Can you attend at night or on holidays?

Reception is normally 7:30–18:00 and holiday support is available. Visit timing depends on current bookings and conditions.

Will the city remove a nest?

The response differs by municipality and location. Ask the public authority for public property; an owner or manager should arrange work on private property.

What should I do if I am stung?

Leave the area. If breathing difficulty, confusion or widespread hives occur, call 119 immediately.

What should I expect after removal?

Returning hornets may be seen immediately after work. We explain site-specific precautions and the period requiring care.
